UPSC IS TOUGHEST EXAMINATION IN INDIA IT’S SUCCESS RATE IS AS LOW AS
0.1-0.2%.UPSC CONSISTS OF CHAIRMAN AND TEN MEMBERS AND ITS TERMS AND
CONDITIONED IS GOVERNED BY UPSC REGULATION 1969,THE CHAIRPERSON AND ITS OTHER
MEMBERS ARE APPOINTED BY PRESIDENT OF INDIA AND AT LEAST HALF OF THE MEMBERS
ARE CIVIL SERVENT RETIRED OR WORKING WITH MINIMUM 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN
STATE OR CENTRAL SERVICE.EACH AND EVERY MEMBER HOLDS THE OFFICE FOR 6 YEARS OR
UNTIL THE PERSON IS OF 65 YEARS OLD,IF HE WANT TO RESIGN HE CAN SUBMIT HIS
RESIGNATION TO THE PRESIDENT OF INDIA OR CAN BE REMOVED FROM THE OFFICE BY
PRESIDENT OF INDIA ON THE GROUND OF ANY TYPE OF MISBEHAVIOUR.UPSC CURRENTLY HAS
42 REGULAR EXAMINATION CENTERS,WHERE EACH YEAR THEY CONDUCT SEVERAL INDIAN
CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION.THE UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) ADVISES
THE GOVERNMENT ON MATTERS RELATING TO FRAMING RECRUITMENT RULES,PRINCIPLES
FOLLOWED IN MAKING APPOINTMENTS,PROMOTIONS AND TRANSFERS FROM ONE SERVICE TO
ANOTHER AND ON DISCIPLINARY MATTERS AFFECTING CIVIL SERVANTS.THE UPSC ENSURES
